Blow your mines!  Dangerous Mines for Mac OS X arrives

 
December 6, 2004 Silver Creek Entertainment, veteran causal game maker, breaths new life into minesweeper with Ruckus Buck's Dangerous Mines. 

Dangerous Mines has all the fun elements of the classic game but has been rebuild from the ground up and has 3 different modes of play now.

Classic: This mode is the classic game of clicking on a square and avoid things that explode.

Free Edge:  This mode opens up the board all around the edge.  This allows players to get right to the logic of the game, instead of the click a few times trying to open up a space to get started with.   All the elements of classic but with out the frustration of trying to get a good start.

Gauntlet:  This really cranks up the fun factor!  Play mines in rounds.  Now players, race against the clock to clear the board.  You won't lose by hitting a mine, but you will loose precious time.   If you like excitement, this is the mode to play.

Dangerous mines also sports a Environment system that allows for engaging background audio.  From thunderstorms to Spooky forests, environment sounds are driven by a system that allows for non repeating audio so it sounds real, not just a looping sound. Players can also make their own environments to share with others.  Each Environment can have custom sounds and images.
